Rhiwbina Bowls Club
Having been formed in 1921, Rhiwbina Bowls Club is one of the oldest sections of Rhiwbina Recreation Club. The Bowls Club comprises and Men’s and Ladies’ section for both Indoor and Outdoor bowls, so the sport can be enjoyed all year round.
The outdoor bowling area consists of 2 bowling greens, with the ladies’ and men’s sections having their very own facility for their section. The outdoor bowls season runs from April through to late September each year, with a wide variety of teams competing in local leagues throughout the summer, both during mid week and on the weekend.
The club is proud to welcome many visiting bowls clubs from all over the UK and has also hosted tournaments in the past.
The indoor bowling green is situated as part of the main clubhouse and is in use all year round. The indoor sections for both ladies and men have an active social circle as well as hosting team matches throughout the winter months.
